Global
MAUNi — ISO Certification Body
MAUNi holds the ISO/IEC 17024-aligned Certification Body role across the network — the standard governing how a person is assessed and certified, wherever they train.
South Africa
U-ACT — SAQA Accreditation
In South Africa, U-ACT carries accreditation recognition from SAQA (the South African Qualifications Authority) — the local statutory recognition alongside MAUNi's global certification standard.
ISO/IEC 17024 alignment
MAUNi operates as the ISO/IEC 17024-aligned Certification Body across the network, with U-ACT delivering training in South Africa through DCC. That standard exists to make sure a certification actually means something: assessment against defined competencies, evidence of practice, and ongoing CPD — not a certificate for simply completing a course.
CPD Certified
The Certified Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC) Online Training Course is CPD Certified by the CPD Certification Service (The Coach House, Ealing Green, London W5 5ER) — Member U-ACT (017908), Certificate No. 48941, issued November 2023.
CLERO accreditation
U-ACT's UBUNTU Academy Coaching Training was ratified as an Accredited (Certified) Member of the College of Lived Experience Recovery Organisations (CLERO) on 7 July 2026 — confirming its status as a genuine Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO): independent, place-based, and committed to the ongoing progression and development of the people it certifies.
ICR Accredited Training Provider
The Ubuntu Academy of Coaching Training is recognised by ICR as an Accredited Training Provider — a long-standing accreditation, running continuously since 2017.
